DVD's on Nav?

Hey guys does the factory Nav unit support DVD playback and if it does I am sure it is rigged to only do so when parked so can that feature be defeated to allow playback while moving? Thanks

Yes, it does support dvd. I believe on the GTS, you can play them while driving, at least that's what I heard on a review. Maybe it's the same on the X?

it is illegal to have a viewable motion screen in the drivers view! So i would highly doubt it would play a dvd in the front of the car.

Watch... 2 min & 20 sec left, he talks about not having to have it in park to watch a dvd. This is a GTS, same Rockford system, but maybe they changed the playback on the X.

seems to be speed related, if I crawl down my drive way its ok but if you get like over 5mph it cuts off. Just what i noted but in the EVO X it will not play while you drive.

usually they can use speed but most today actually have a Gyro system in them to detected movement

You cannot watch DVDs while in motion on a GTS
