Plus usually with the factory systems it is a pain in the *** to do any type of upgrades to the system or is alot of money to get the special harnesses and kits.

Thuan did you have issues when transfering over the hazard light cluster since it has a ribbon linked to the face of the stock radio? What did you do?

Looks good... I am looking into getting the D3 now... One of my friends works at Circuit City and he is going to sell me his display model for cheap...

The install and all looks really good... How much was it for the metra kit and harness? And how long did it take you to get it?

the ribbon pull right out, if you are going after market, there is no need for ribbon link. I did not have any issue at all transfering the cluster at all, the Metra peace
has the hole for the screws and everything fit just perfect

I don't have an Evo but I put the D3 in my GTS and I absolutely love it! The only thing that I think people would have a problem with is the loss of steering wheel controls. I know PAC makes an adapter to keep the controls but so far no shop I have talked to knows how to splice the adapter into the 08 models yet. PAC even released a wiring diagram and instructions for the 08's, but the shop I took that diagram to said it was wrong. Maybe he just didn't know what he was doing... I don't know, but he seemed very knowledgeable. Have any of you guys figured it out yet?

Dang... You're lucky... The one that my friend had was broken... So, I went to Best Buy and they are asking $999 for it... They had an open box one, but still wanted $579 for it and it was missing the power harness and the gps antenna.

I just bought the Z3, but I am waiting on the amp interface to come out so I can still use the factory amp. Should be another 2 weeks or so... Very bummed about it....
