DVD Hack for the MMCS

I was just wondering if anybody was able to create a hack that will allow us to use the Aux video in motion. I already have the DVD in motion hack. I have an 08 MR with what I believe is firmware version 00.30.99 and the versions loader is bld-nr-261lum 1.09.

I just did this on the 30.94. I had the same problem. You can use the 30.99 file to update it though. Just download the file, burn as CD(Disk image). Pop it in and do the update. It will ask if you want to do it again when it's finished. Just hit no and you are good to go.

the problem now adays is the patch file isnt available. i could explain to you guys how to downgrade your firmware to patch but apparently the patch files aren't online any more

i have a file somewhere on my computer that matches my mmcs info .. however with all the burning utilities ive tried i'm unable to have any sucess.. i can't seem to find the same version as others were useing... nero burning rom... i just can't seem to get that program.. it tells me to update my computers etc.. my laptop is running mac/win xp media center with a mac drive thingy.. anyways it's unable to install..
if anyone know's another iso burning program that actually works feel free to let me know.

Also reviving... Long list of pages with a lot of chatter on this thread. Mods, can we amp up a new one with version updates for video in motion? Has anyone come up with the software update for video in motion for the 41.02? This would make my day, and quite possibly, my year. Long trips with the passengers are made much better with some entertainment!
