hey guys, I just picked up my evo X. I was wondering if the bluetooth for the cell phone comes with the nav. They were out of stock on the nav and will be installing it next week. Is this an option I have to buy in addition? I got the SSS package and the factory nav. Thanks in advance.

 

if you got the nav and tech package then yes you have bt, but the controls for it are on the steering wheel and some are voice activated through the nav. i don't know where exactly the bt signal comes from though

I got a GSR so there is no tech package.

Yeah i found the DIY right after I posted, who would have though Sorry for the double post. I am going to have to ask the dealer if they will do this install. Why in the world would they not make this a factory option?!?

 

i think someone posted that dealers will not install this option because you have to take off the steering wheel, something about liability with the air bag and what not
