Paint Metra Kit?
I will soon have PB MR & am trying to prepare a few things beforehand. One being the color of the Metra Din that I have. Should I have it sprayed w/glossy black, Phantom Black, or leave it flat black? The cd deck is glossy black & the MR trim underneath is Piano Black, which looks like glossy black to me.

Thanks.

Thanks.

I wouldn't spray to match the HU, I would spray to match the dash.
I would probably end up waiting for the car to match the dash, as opposed to guessing. I know you want to do a lot of things right away, but some things are worth waiting.
Gauges going in other DIN?

I would wait and decide whether to paint it or not then.
My initial reaction would be to paint it to match the dash, not the head unit but if it were me, I might actually leave it like it is if it matches the dash decently.

Metra
I just got my Metra kit and I have been thinking of painting it red to match my sport seats red inserts along with my tenzo type m wheels with red lines and my red calipers. I also want to paint the other air vents to match. This is my idea and I am picturing this in my head, so yeah I would say go ahead.

Well, it seems as though leaving it/matching the paint to the rest of the dash is the way to go. Can anyone tell me if the kit in the pic I posted is nearly the same color as the dash or if it looks darker?
Thanks everyone

Lolz @ Blu Evo-x... pic fits in my monitor
Thanks guys. I'm def not going to paint it now. Down side is that it's one or two shades darker than the rest of the dash
, but not worth the $ to paint it to be exact, IMO
