any base owner had this problem cuz mine dont seem to work when i try to follow the manual holding the load button till it blank but it doesnt at all? does the base even has the cd changer

 

The base GSR does not have a changer...just a single CD slot. I got the dealer to upgrade mine for cost ($300) as part of the deal. One of the reasons I got the base is that i could get a bigger discount than on the SSS package and I could add back the parts I cared about (like the 6 cd changer).
