You also can get a really nice 5 channel amplifier to push you interiors and a nice 12 inch sub. Kicker makes an amp model kicker 700.5. If you are not looking for to much bass this only puts out around 400 watts to the sub but will sound great with one kicker CVR. And the power output for the interiors wont be to much but if you change your factory speakers will sound crystal clear and better than the factory amp.

I don't think I would consider Kicker as anything that "sounds good". Their products get loud, that's for sure, but they lack big time in the SQ category.

Depends on what you are talking about. JL is in the same category as kicker. They are not a SQ system. If you want loud and semi clean, then fine, they will work (It will be better than the factory system).

But if you want it to be clean, look at Audison, US Amps, McIntosh, etc. for amps.

Speakers look at Rainbow, Diamond, OZ Audio (If you can still find them), RE, etc.

Subs; some good ones are Image Dynamics, Diamond, OZ Audio, RE

ok quick question... i just bought a pioneer in dash double din and the Scosche dash kit. I just wanted to know if there are any additional things required for the install because in the metra kit I see mounting brackets, but in the kit I bought from Scosche doesnt. Also Will this get rid of my stearing wheel controls and iPod connection?

you need a wiring harness from scosche and you will use the factory bracket when you remevoe your stock radio.

Just installed my Scosche dash kit and my Kenwood DPX-503. Install was totally painless and everything fits and works great!

IMO the Scosche & Metra kits both look terrible. I bought the JDM dash panel because it sits flush (no bulge out) and the material is the same as stock. It may cost more money but these cars aren't cheap and I'm too **** to put that aftermarket crap in my car.

I think when he mentioned "bulge out" he's talking about the overhang at the bottom
