hard drive transfer issues

Hey guys, just got my evo X on saturday. Got the nav package..I'm trying to get CD's ripped onto the hard drive..i made an MP3 CD with nero and it doesn't give me the option to rip it onto the hard drive. Ive had a regular CD and it ripped it automatically..but for some reason the MP3 cd's are not working..is there something I'm missing here?

Another thing im wondering is if there is a direct IPOD hookup for this system? i know i can hook it through the AUX port..but it just plugs into a stereo jack, not the ipod itself..I'd like to hook the ipod up directly and maybe transfer music that way? Thanks for the help..i know im a noob but i did search on the forums for these issues Thanks again!

doesn't rip mp3s off of cd or dvd (the system uses it's own stupid format on the hard drive).

aux only, no ipod specific adapter.

Just to carry over here for anyone else looking, you can't unless you burn an audio cd that is an exact copy of a storebought CD (since the MMCS looks at the CD and looks it up in an internal database and uses that for the CDDB info). Now you could put in the track info, but that is an *** whooping.

And no I'm not a stalker lol.
