Plug n' Play IPOD adapter?

Not a Newbie...but a newbie question...

I'm not looking for a FM-Transmitter

but....Is there a plug and play IPod adapter for the factory radio/CD player? Like the ones I have to plug into the back of the player?

If so..I need names or links..
thanks!

No there is not an auxilary interface adapter for our car. We do not have a cd changer option on our cars, therefore no direct-plug adapter...sorry

Just change out the radio. Every radio we carry has an extra ipod interface that you can buy...

hmmm..I don't even have to go high end unit, just some cheaper unit from Best Buy with a AUX port should do the trick right?

Well, my friend is selling me his FM transmitter for like $10, so I'll give that a try first. I just hate having extra equipment on board and thieves thinking it's something expensive...

I also hate aftermarket units b/c I don't want to forget to take the faceplate of EVERY single time...

Be careful as you are losing sound quality by going from a digital to analog signal with an fm transmitter.
