Automatic door locks?

Does the Evo X have the option of automatic door locks? I know my 06' Civic SI came programmed from the factory not locking the doors but you could make it lock the doors at 10mph automatically by reprogramming it (holding the lock button for xx amount of time and turning the key or something like that).

Does the X have an option to do this?

Not that I have seen. I've not seen anything related to that in the user settings in the MMCS. That would be a nice feature.

You can program it to open the doors but not lock them. This doesn't make much sense since it requires you to manually lock it yet it automatically unlocks. I hope that I am wrong and there is a way you can have the doors lock automatically. Anyone know?

I think this feature can be enabled by the dealer. If you listen closely when you're driving away it almost sounds like it's trying to do it, atleast on my car. This option has to be available.

I just wish my doors would lock when I walk away from my car without having to hit the button on the remote.

That clicking you hear on moving out after an initial start is the ABS valves cycling.

Most aftermarket alarm/ keyless entry systems have the ignition lock/unlock feature..

Maybe you could pick up a cheap one for the locks and get a remote start in the process !!!

The other posters are correct. Compustar and others have ignition lock/unlock features that are programmable. I'd get one of them, for the auto start and alarm as a bonus.
