Metra Harness Blue Wire (Power Antenna)

I'm hoping someone has run across this but the Metra harness for the base 2008+ Lancer deck has a Blue wire for power antenna. Well since there isn't a power antenna on these cars I'm hesitant to connect it to the power antenna wire from my aftermarket deck because I'm not clear on the function of the wire to the stock system.

If the wire comes out of the stock harness surely it must have some sort of function in the stock system but what I'm not sure.

what that is is the power amp for the AM radio...try your AM stations and ull prolly notice that if you dont power that wire u wont get any channels

edit:so what u need to do is connect that blue wire to a power wire, not the deck power antenna wire
