the amount of people with the same problem is interesting. Has anybody had the bluetooth module replaced to fix the problem?

I have the same problem. Is there anyone we can contact besides the dealers so they can fix this problem.

I gave up on the EVO X's Bluetooth. You have to pair the device every week it seems, and it’s far from being dependable or reliable. The Bluetooth in my EVOx sucks. I ended up digging out my old “Blue Ant” Bluetooth hands free unit that I used with my last car. The “Blue Ant” recognized my phone despite not being used since Feb. Once I saw that it is possible for a Bluetooth device to retain its settings I decided to never use the EVOx’s Bluetooth again.

I tell you if the EVOx wasn’t a blast to drive I would be disappointed beyond belief. The stereo sucks, the blue tooth has to be “paired” with the phone about once a week. The Aux input has serious background noise. Glad I didn’t buy the car for its electronics.

I haven't had a problem with mine yet. I have a 3g iPhone and the 30.94 nav software in my MR

I don't have any of those issues. I bought a shielded cord for my aux input (ipod) and I don't get any background noise. I wouldn't call the rockford system great, but I'm content with it. Though I did go from a full CDT Audio system to that. It sounds good and it plays fine at all speeds.

The one ***** I have is the handsfree disconnect beep which is super loud. I'm about to make a thread on it.

It was only when I connected my laptop that I got the noise. My Smartphone (htc touch pro) is fine. It even outputs video :-)

I think there's a setting for the beep volume.

Actually it turned out to be the phone. I had to turn the phone bluetooth volume up so I didn't have to turn the car volume up. Works great now

I did... Dealer tried blaming it on my phone too... I originally had the original iPhone, which experienced the issue once... had a BB Storm (which, coincidentally, was the worst POS I ever owned), which had the issue many times over the 6mths I had it, and now, have had it once with the iPhone 3GS... I just can't be bothered to take it back to the dealer again to have them tell me they don't know the answer... but, in their defense, neither does Mitsu Canada and, they've always been good about trying things...

Same as another poster... I love the car... glad it is so much fun to drive, because, if it wasn't... and the BT and Stereo were more important, I'd probably be really disappointed...

Its not the phone - my Samsung Z510 "remembers" the car pairing...

Anyways mine is behaving it self again now... So there must be some event or something that is causing it to forget..

I don't know what it is. It figures that after I made a big huff at the dealer about the problem, it has now decided to go away for no apparent reason. It hasnt happened in over a month now.

It varies depending on what firmware I'm running on my Blackberry Bold. With the beat 5.0 firmware had no issues but went to the latest official 4.6 release and having to repair constantly. Hopefully new firmware will come out soon.
