Stock head unti CD acting up, one side of speakers working?

Just recently my CD played has sometimes stopped ejecting CD's and only having audio come out of one side? has this happened to anyone else

Is this covered under warranty? Few months old car and the stock stereo sucks.

The stock stereo should be covered by warranty if you haven't made any mods to it.

I took my car in for the same thing. They are going to change the speakers and a transmitter unit next week. I still think it is a problem with the head unit though. Here is a link to the thread about this.

It's either the headunit or stock amp or a short in one of the speakers. Not sure if the stock system works like this but most aftermarket systems if they see a short they will cut off output to some or all speakers. Depends on how it's set up. But definately take it in to get checked if it's only a few months old.
