Hi folks, did a few searches, couldn't find the answer I was looking for, apologies if I missed something...

I got a quick question for those who've installed this combo in their SSS X...

The SWI-PS instructions (I'm using the 2008 lancer one) say to wire the white control wire to blue wire in pin 22. Ground pin 32, which should be black..



Looking at the mito-02, the wires in that position are brown with a white stripe (pin 32), and brown with a yellow stripe (pin 22), and more importantly, unlabeled. I haven't gotten the dash apart yet (wanted to wire up the harnesses first), are these the right wires to use? I kinda don't want to cut them if they aren't. This is the only harness that's 10x2 (although the picture doesn't match up the actual look of the harness), so it has to be the right harness, right? Is there something I'm missing?

Anyone know? Turns out I was looking at the harness upsidedown, pin 22 = illumination, pin 32 = blank.

Anyone successfully install the SWI-PS and know which wires?

Am I missing something really stupidly obvious? It wouldn't be the first time.

 

Don't look at the mito 2, you must look at the harness in the vehicle.

 

stuff, the car's harness wires are mis-labelled and should both be black/blue stripe. these colors are on the CAR SIDE harness. i believe you have the mito 02 colors correct though, so you can use those... just make sure that the mito 02 module doesn't still see those two wires (cut and cap them off coming from the mito-02), or you'll have data collision and the swc modules will not work.
