PAC SWI-PS install help

Hi all,

I've got the Pioneer Z110BT nav unit, and at the time of my installation I could not get the steering wheel control module so the install was done without it. However I have the SWI-PS now, and need some help with the installation. The car-specific instructions PAC has are a little confusing. I've found some threads on the installation but could not get it to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
For example it says connect the SWI white wire to PIN 22, but there already is a wire in that location. Do I need to remove that wire? Don't hesitate to dumb it down, I really want to install this ASAP

Thanks in advance!

There is a total of four wires. 12v, Gorund(PAC), Data, Ground(steering controls). The red PAC wire connects to the yellow wire (red on aftermarket harness) on the factory harness. The black PAC wire connects to the solid (no gray stripes) black wire. The white PAC wire connects to the blue/gray (gray stripes) wire. The steering controls must be grounded to complete the circuit. There is a black/gray striped wire on the factory harness. Take a piece of wire and connect the black/gray (steering ground) wire to the solid black (ground) wire. Once that is connected correctly you should be able to program the PAC just like the instructions says.
