Nav sys question

Anyone know if the aux input on the nav sys can be swapped out with an aud/vid cable or ipod cable so you can play movies from ur ipod on the nav screen? Not sure and dealership couldn't answer the question. Thx

you can swap/wire in a video in, but unless you hack the nav somehow, it doesn't allow aux-in video when the car is moving.

You can wire into the backup camera input as well and wire a switch, but then you get a message on the bottom of the screen (since it thinks it's for a backup camera).

Sweet, thanks for the info. I guess i'll have to do some more looking into it, possibly pulling the unit and/or talking to a specialist shop.

The guys at your dealership are morons. I seriously don't understand. These guys spend all day, every day selling cars, and they don't ever seem to know crap about them. That's when I find a new salesman. When I bought my Lancer GTS, the guy didn't even know we were driving a 2009, nor did he even know any of the 2009 models were out yet.

Look in the audio section and look for into on backup cameras. Use the backup camera input on the nav as a video in motion hack. But, there's more to it than that.
