yes... at least im pretty sure. I have a 2010 GSR and it comes out the passenger side. I think each function has a dedicated speaker for navi... like when you have the radio playing while navi is active, the navi voice with take over the designated speaker. it's the same with bluetooth as well. thats my experience at least, hope it helps

well, mine is an '10 as well. but when i talk on the cellphone via bluetooth, the voice comes out from all speakers, i guess that's because the radio is automatically muted whenever there's a phone call. it's interesting that your navi voice comes out from the passenger side and mine comes out of the driver side speaker.

do you have the SSS package? if it's available for the MR. I have the rockford fosgate speakers.. i dunno, could just be different setup for the GSR vs MR. But i'm pretty sure it's normal that the voice comes out only one speaker. otherwise it would have to mute the music while driving.

Yeah, navi voice out of the front left channel, with music attenuated at the other channels. Bluetooth phone calls come out both front speakers.

If I'm not mistaken, if you look in the owner's manual for the Navi, you'll find your answer...and I believe you can choose which speaker(s) the voice comes from (you can even change the voice as well).

You can't change the speaker it comes from, but you can change voice type (male/female) and set guidance volume levels.

Ya. I got the Rockford system and voice comes out only on passenger side. I have difficulty hearing on highway speeds. But I'm also getting old. LOL.
