swapping oem navi in place of stock sss stereo questions

I currently have a SSS package in my car with the 6 disc stereo in it. I'm in the process of purchasing a OEM MMCS navi unit and install kit to swap in it's place and I have a few questions I was hoping you guys could help me with.

1. Is the 2010 navi unit the same as the 2008?

2. I programmed my blue tooth, is the memory in the stock sss stereo?

2a. Will I have to redo the setup of the blue tooth with the navi?

3. After I swap the navi in, is there a need for going to the dealer to "program" the unit or will it function perfectly fine?

If anyone could assist me with any of my questions, I would greatly appreciate a response.

Thanks.

2 & 2a. So far I've been told that the bluetooth is it's own module and will not need to be programmed

3. I was told that I will not need to visit the dealer to get the unit working

1) the 2010 unit is slightly different than the 2008 unit. The 2010 has a larger HD and the updated maps. Aside from that I do not believe there is a functional difference. The greater capacity did not appear to dramatically increase the music holding capability.

I just swapped my rf 6 disc stereo unit for the mmcs this weekend

followed to how to and it was very easy to do...completed the swap in just over 45 minutes

the unit worked no problems at all and there is no reason to visit a dealer after the swap
