i have a f-90bt pioneer unit from my old evo. i now have an evo x so i want to put i in there. will i lose the steering wheel functions that have to do with the radio and the bluetooth? please put your input

Get a current revision of the PAC SWI-PS, and it will also control the Bluetooth buttons for you. I'm using them with my Z110bt and it's just like stock functionality. Just remember to unplug the BT control module (above the glove box) before programming the SWI...

 

i would recommend the metra axxess ASWC, it's much faster than the swips ever was, and i've probably installed over 100 in my career. this new aswc autoprograms if you want, or manually, but the cool thing is it has NO lag in the buttons from when you press it, to when you see something happen. sometimes the swips or swijack lags behind.

the aswc also does BT controls
