PAC SWI-PS and Bluetooth
PAC SWI-PS and Bluetooth
I found out today that this wonderful unit will interface with all three bluetooth controls and all other steering wheel controls. I now have a F90BT Pioneer fully integrated
FYI program the unit for eight like the instructions say. Then instead of the 9 list of programming do this.
1-9 Same as Instructions
10 Phone Status
11 Pick up
12 Hang up
All done.

Awesome info, i have the f900bt and just programed 1-9. Will be trying this tomorrow.
Where did you mount your mic because i was wanting to use the stock mic location but haven't had the drive to take everything apart again lol.

I actually unplugged the mic and moved it to the right position and let it hang. I then put my mic where the original one was. This allowed for my sound to be picked up better.
I will take pictures on the completed install after I get the Sirius antenna on Monday.
Nice will have to try this as well. What head unit you have? Do you have to program the PAC to pick it up?
Another guy on the Evo X section has pictures of his mic installed in the stock mics location. He used one of those white clips the unit came.

Very nice find! :-P
I wonder if the "SWI-JACK" will work with this unit, and give control of Bluetooth and such as well.

I am having a problem programming my PAC unit. I have the same setup as the OP. What's happening is when I get to the programming phase I press the Volume Up and the light goes out, but it never comes back on. I have checked my connections over and over.. nothing looks wrong. Do I have to have the Nav unit plugged in to program the device? I don't have it plugged in yet, I figured I'd do that after I programmed the PAC.
Edit: Another thing I noticed is that after hitting the button to turn on the LED if I don't hit the volume control at all it eventually goes out.. so I don't think a signal is getting to the device.. It is the blue wire with a black line I am supposed to tap into correct?

Okay here's what I did and I've still NOT got it working..
I ran the ground from the PAC unit to the radio harness ground, ran the power to the radio harness power, then I did a splice into the blue wire from the steering wheel connector and attached the white wire to it. I have continuity across the line from the blue wire to the PAC unit but I don't seem to be getting any signals from the steering wheel controls?

Okay I got it working and here's what I figured out the hard way...

The connector I am holding does everything. The other one in the picture I THOUGHT was the steering wheel controls. It's not. I haven't figured out what it's for yet. If anyone knows let me know.

To clarify although most could already deduce this. Only one wire is used to send the radio control signals and bluetooth button signals (the other is grounded so two technically). Which means that other harness is used to transmit the audio and other things necessary for operation of bluetooth. Also input from the Sirius attachment if equipped.

Koroshiya, I'm having the same problem you had. I cannot program my controls on my Lancer GTS. Which wire did you plug the white PAC wire into? Was it the blue one? Which is not in pin 22. Thanks for any help. The pic helped a lot too.
