Ground Loop Isolater.

I just got my GSR. It has a lot of ground or alternator wine while listening through aux. I bought a ground loop isolator to wire in and it fixed the problem. My question is how do you wire this in behind the dash. I would prefer to remove the wire that connects the headunit to the aux port in below the radio and replace it with the ground loop. Any ideas on the fastest way to wire this bad boy in. Everything i have searched says the dash is a high PITA to remove to get back there. Any ideas?

umm to get behind the radio nah its easy. you dont have to remove the entire dash.

just remove the glove box, CF trim, radio face plate, then the radio .

I have small hands so i was able to reach around in there without disassembling the entire front dash.

what i did for my car pc setup is i just pulled the AUX input box "in" behind the dash , connected my ground loop isolator to it and hid it behind the glove box near where the cabin air filter is, then i just have the output of the isolator sticking out so plug my ipod or w.e. in.

you could also so the same and just run the output of the isolator through the hole in the dash where the current aux input box is (assuming you remove it as i did).
