Where to put 2 12 Inch Subs in Evo?

Hello All,

Last month I purchased an 08 OB Evo GSR with the Rockford Package. The Rockford Package was nice at first, however, I want to pull the 2 12 Inch Subs from my Civic Hatch and put them in the Evo. I don't want to sacrifice the trunk space, and I'd rather not pull the spare the tire out. I'm looking to go for the "Out of Sight, Out of Mind" type thing. Does anyone know if they will fit under the Front or Rear Seats? I understand the fact if they go under the Front Seat, the Amp would need to be moved, which is no big deal to me since I am replacing the amp anyways.

Anyone have any ideas on how I can pull this off without losing Trunk Space and keeping them hidden?

I would recommend selling the 2 12's and buying 1 high quality 10". That's definitively sufficient for these cars and would be much easier to tuck away.

Yeah, the more research I do the more I am giving up on the 2 12's. I already have 1 good quality 10" that I can swap out for the Rockford.

Going to see how manageable it would be to place a 10" or 12" Sub under the passenger seat, but I imigane I would have to go with a shallow mout sub.

I would get a 10" and place it either right behind the rear seats in the trunk or in either corner by the tailights in a carpeted box.

Depending on what you're wanting to do, you could put a sub (10"), firing forward, through the center arm rest area. Once you remove the plastic panels that cover the battery and fluid holder, you could easily fab something up to fit in there...lots of room.

Or, you could make two sub boxes, one on either side and go from there...you'd have to make the one on the right side easy to remove, for access to the fluid there.
