This happened to me too but as i drove around abit, it just repositioned by itself. Maybe you need to have it programmed with the MUT III tool.

just found out I'm missing the GPS antenna its on order getting it wednesday

That could certainly cause some positioning issues. Glad to hear it was a simple fix.
