Factory navi question

Is the harness on factory nav equipped evos the same as the harness that needs to be purchased for non nav evos?

Yes, the wiring harness is the same. There is a difference between the RF-equiped Evos and the non-RF ones. But you will be able to put the stock nav into a non-nav Evo w/o issue.

Having said that, I see that you have a CT9A on your profile. You cannot install the Evo X nav into your VIII w/o major work.

The harness is the same for the navi and the non navi. The navi just plugs and plays in the non navi evo x. I just had this done and its very easy.

Yes. The Sat module connects through the wiring harness you have behind the deck. It will announce itself on the CAN bus, and the radio (or nav) will automagically fire up the correct interface for it.

It's DiNoc. I personally think it looks better than the shiny cf replacements out there and its much much cheaper of cuz.
