I have an 08 GSR with the nav, and fosgate sound package. For me it's just too quiet especially when I connect my phone to it. I'd like to replace the stock Amp with an aftermarket amp, and install a seperate amp for a sub woofer. I'm not too sure how to go about this mod. Does anyone have the pinout for the two connectors on the stock amp that's under the drivers seat? Also any and all advice is appreciated.

 

save your money and just get one 5ch amp...JL Audio makes 2 pretty sweet 5ch. amps depending on how much power you're looking for. The 900/5HD is 100x4 for your mids/highs and then 500x1 for the sub....pretty broady if you ask me and its about the size of a ream of paper but thinner. Hope this helped

 

In already haqve the amps from my o6 evo one is an ARC audio by foose and the other is a kicker 1500. I'm just not sure of the pin out going to the existing plu to the amp that's under the seat. is the JL that you are talking about a plug and play? like can I get an adapter and just plug it into the existing harness?
