I've been using this without problems for about 6 months until last week when my phone suddenly wouldn't connect. I tried to remove the device and re-pair. Everytime my phone says the pairing is complete but the headunit just hangs and then eventually says "Failed". I've tried resetting the head unit and that didn't work. I've also tried another phone and had the same problem.

Any ideas? Think the unit is shot?

 

No one with similar issues that could lend some insight?

 

contact alpine and see if they can fix it under warranty or help you troubleshoot it
