OEM Nav, aftermarket backup camera, horizontal rippling?
OEM Nav, aftermarket backup camera, horizontal rippling?
Hey guys,
I recently had a backup camera installed in my Evo. I'm using the OEM Nav, with an adapter cable bought from a member here. I went with the Boyo VTL375 as my backup camera. When the car is off, and I enter the camera setup via the maintenance menu, the picture is fine and has minimal noise. However, when I start the car, the picture is full of horizontal rippling. They've tried multiple brands of cameras and the rippling is still there. Anyone have an idea what might be causing this? I've contacted the seller of the cable. Seems like it might be a shielding issue? Any ideas appreciated. Thanks!
