Since all of the current speaker adapters that are supposed to fit the goofy Mitsu 3-pin twist-and-lock mount don't actually fit correctly, and everybody just seems to be cutting out the stock speakers or making their own MDF baffles, I was searching and came up with this..

Found some install pics in a couple Evo X's and a few other Mitsus (LINK).. looks like painted wood, but might be plastic.

Unfortunately, this seems to be sold only in Japan at the moment.. and after conversion, runs anywhere from $40 to $50 USD a pair.

Dunno.. maybe Evasive or one of the other EvoM sponsors that handles import accessories would be nice and stock them? I'd definitely be down for 2 pair, if it meant I could save my stockers and/or keep from losing a few fingers trying to build my own =)
