Hello, I couldn't seem to find much on this topic, but I'm sure there are lots of people on here with the same problem.

I found the usb connector for my car, but when I plug in my iPhone 4, it says it can not connect. I suppose this has to do with it being a phone instead of just an iPod?

My questions are:

Can I make my iPhone 4 work with the iPod part, so I can browse my library through my touch screen in the car?

If not, can I get a late model iPod and do it that way? I would really like to be able to use the car's touchscreen to browse my music.

I already have it connected to bluetooth, and can stream music just fine. But I think sound quality would be better plugged in.

Doesnt work for my Iphone 4. I tried an older Ipod nano and it didnt work either.

 

That is lousy. It'd be so nice to be able to keep an iPod plugged in, or at least my phone when I know I'll be in the car for a while.

Since getting the car, that is the only fault I've found. I hope Mitsu can update it's firmware or something.

 

it worked with my brothers iphone 3g and his nano but not with my touch. It keeps saying connection error. Is that the error other people are getting?
As of now, there is still no fix what so ever?
