Umm.. Help - Navi problems.

EDIT: Fixed.

Installed the Navi in my X. Everything worked fine. Then my battery died awhile back, ever since then, the navigation interface has been screwy. It placed me in NY, but the odd thing is that it still detects my movement. AKA - I'm driving in the ocean.
I've tried doing the reset on it and it just deletes my **** and doesn't fix anything.

I don't live close to a dealership and I've called them and they are worthless.

Anyone else experience something like this? Is there maybe a hard reset somewhere and I am only doing the soft?

Oh, and the clock is wrong as well. It will only display 3:00 and resets every time to that when starting the car up again.

sounds like some variety of a possible short circuit, just take the ride to the dealership but don't take a wrong turn into the ocean on the way.

haha

What do you mean "Possible short circuit"? All the hardware is working properly if it is calibrating my movement N,W,S,& E obviously. That's why it makes me believe it has to deal with a firmware conflict of some sort. Everything worked fine till the MMSC reset due to the battery dying.

I wonder if it has an internal battery kind of like some of the older video game systems that kept track of the systems time and date.
