Scosche vs JDM double din kits

I'm going to be replacing my stock head unit with an Alpine INA-W900BT and I know the Metra kits are crap, seen them in person. So between Scosche and JDM, which one has been the most preferred and nicest kit?

the JDM is the nicest kit hands down. the reason why this question even comes up is not because we don't know which one is better but because of the price difference. yes the JDM one is better but if it is $250~ more better is entirely up to you.

Anyone had issues with fitment of the Scosche kit? Any rattling coming from it?

For something that's right in your line of sight I'd pick the JDM kit hands down. Metra is shi!t, Scosche is just ok and the JDM is seamless.

JDM is hard to get, you can try japanparts.com, mitsubishiparts.net.

I honestly don't see why anyone would want it over the Scosche. I have the Scosche and have 0 complaints. Color is almost perfect, it has a small lip to rest your thumb on while you browse it, and fitment is great. For $30 vs $250, I'll take the Scosche all day. I have better things to spend my money on.

Keep in mind your old vents come out and go in the new dash kit, so your vents are identical. No one knows the dash kit in my car is aftermarket.

Yeah pictures don't do the Sosche justice. It looks much better in real life than it does in pictures.

i have 2 scoche pieces and i will have the JDM piece in a week or so. my plan is to mess around with the scoche and different gauge mounting and then when i make the final decision, go to town on the JDM bezel.

About 10 or so threads down you can find the thread that shows the fitment of the JDM kit. I personally do not have either or so I can not vouch for either so I will let the guy who bought them do that.
