Scosche vs JDM double din kits
Dunno.. I just checked the Eclipse AVN6620 chassis size against an Alpine INA-W900BT (which does fit)..
Eclipse: 180 x 100 x 165 mm (W x H x D)
Alpine: 178 x 100 x 160.5 mm
Kenwood: 181.7 x 100 x 180 mm
Pioneer: 178 x 100 x165 mm
Don't think that 5mm extra in length will matter much, since you'd need additional space for stuffing wires behind the unit.. and the 1mm extra per side might just be a slight difference in where the two companies were measuring from.
Dumb question, but I saw in the manual that the AVN6620 comes with rectangular shipping brackets screwed into each side.. you removed those right??
Only other thing I saw in the manual was mention of using either the included red M5x8 hex bolts OR the red M5x8 flat head screws.. I could see the hex bolt head maybe causing a clearance issue or something weird.
In any case, lots of luck!
EDIT: Added chassis dimensions of Kenwood DNX9980HD and Pioneer AVIC-Z130BT / X930BT for comparison.

Finally got the scosche kit to fit correctly. I took it to a local stero shop and the guy had to make a few mods to the bracket and now it fits like a glove! Thanks for all the help!
For the easability of getting the item I would def say that Schosce would be the way to go. Now if you could find a good deal on a JDM dash kit jump on it quick before its gone cause they are hard to find.
Had a Kenwood nav unit installed today, using the Scosche kit. It's not perfect, but it's pretty damn good. There's a spot in the top right corner where the plastic sticks up a bit over the dash, but nothing a Xacto knife can't fix.
I waited around for a while cruising the forums until I found a JDM kit a little more costly than the Schosce, which would have been my second choice. The JDM is much cleaner and a for sure fit without any modifications.
