I know this is an old thread, but was wondering if the mounting bracket is the same on the 8/9's as it is on the 10's?

Also did the mirror the OP linked to on the toyota site come with a harness?

 

...and, does any GENTEK mirror work fit our cars? GENTEK is very popular and is OEM on a lot of cars... Even GMs had them.

I have seen Ebay for as low as $15 for a Buick Gentek autodim...

Or do only the Toyota and Nissan ones fit us?

I ended up using a donnelly auto dim from a Buick Rendezvous. lol- Got it from Brandywine autoparts in Waldorf MD. Looks good and fit like a glove on my Vlll.

 

Nice upgrade. I think you inspired me to do the same thing.
