When are you guys seeing your Sirius free trial expire?
Think maybe they converted your account to "billable"?
The brochure that came with my car indicated that it would become a billable subscription if you didn't call up to cancel.
(Which reminds me: I should do that.)
On the 2014, it only indicated 3 months for free.
I think the theory is that they might get a couple of bucks from people who call up to cancel too late.
The "opt out" scam at work.
I've had Sirius included with DirecTV for years, and never used it.
I gave it a listen once or twice, but the music selection is pretty mediocre.
Especially compared to just stuffing an SD flash into the user slot, filled with your favorite MP3 tracks.
And the SD card works in the underground parking garage.

I purchased my 08 X just over a year ago. Either the dealer gave me some free and its still going, or the previous owner is still paying, because it keeps going and going. I only listen to the Jason Ellis show on 41 for lunch and on the way home, other than that the music isn't that awesome. I only use it other than that if Im too lazy to plug in spotify.

I dont know how Sirius could bill me when they dont have my credit card info. I'll keep enjoying it free. There's a few stations I like - Howard 100, Shade 45, the R&B music station

Update: Sirius sent some junk mail I haven't read to the postbox where I register the car, but they just called to offer me a subscription.
I took the opportunity to cancel.
They tell me the free trial is supposed to cancel automatically.
The girl on the phone was a bit nonplussed when (after three months), I told her that I'd *never* used it in the car.
I don't text in the car either. I'm an old geezer who only uses a phone for phone calls.
But I'm also an old nerd with a Linux computer that can convert tracks off my CDs to MP3 files on an SD flash card.
I do have to say that I'm a bit disappointed with the "HERE" live traffic data.
Apparently the "traffic jams" are only rated in comparison to "normal" gridlock.
When one traffic light is only backed up the normal four blocks and 15 minutes, it doesn't show as a traffic jam, and the NAV doesn't reroute around it.
Which explains why, on the way home from the dealer, the NAV took me straight to the traffic jam on the outer loop, going from MD to VA --- which seems to be there 24x7.
But the "HERE" subscription is "free" for the life of the car (or the MMCS).
(Not counting the increase in vehicle price over the '13s.

Okay, I've skimmed the junk mail. All indicate that the Sirius "free trial" will expire.
