Radar Detector
My 9500 blocks out ALMOST all of the grocery stores, there's a couple that are KA Band and it wont automatically block them. Is there a way I can manually do it?
It is posible that you have the emergency services turned on. like the saftey signs and such. if you have the cheat card of the settings reset all then turn on or off what you want. if you dont have it you can download it from website.

V1 the only detector that has changed the way it looks in 10 years. Passports are always changing like every year. I love my V1. Yeah false alarms after you learn an area youll learn which alerts are false and which you should pay attention too.
Hey guys, I have been running Valentine one for 6 years and absolutely love it. I just posted a very detailed post in my blog on how to how to install (direct wire with a concealed display) in EVO X – check it out: http://www.evorage.com/
sticking with my v1.. i've considered doing something like hardwire, but idk, don't wanna mess with stuff. i did buy a concealed display - a, cuz it's cool, and b, cuz i misesd having a mute button at the plug spot. not sure where on a ix i could mount it anyway
if anyone is interested in seeing i can post up pictures of how i mounted my 9500ix onto my rearview with $20 gopro handlebar mount..way cheaper and better than a $50+ mount, and you can use it as a camera mount for track days
I have a passport 8500i attached with a BlendMount to my rear view mirror and its amazing. Holds firm and steady and i believe they make them for the V1 as well.
As for detectors, i do plenty of fun runs with 2 buddies in the bay area. 1 has the redline and the other has the v1. The redline seems to noticeably pick up a Ka signal in front better but from the rear the V1 i think with its dual antennas provide better rear coverage but both are safe bets if your looking at something in the top end. My 8500i does the job day to day so found no reason to switch yet.
