Steering wheel audio control +aftermarket radio question

Hi,

the 2008 GSR X does not come with the Steering wheel audio control. However, in this thread, there is an how to to install it:

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...evo-x-gsr.html

my question:

if I have an aftermarket stereo (namely a JVC KD-X50BT) that have a steering wheel input (http://a248.e.akamai.net/pix.crutchf...105KDX50BT.PDF), does all the function provided by the OEM steering wheel audio control will work? Also, what OEM wire should be connected to the steering wheel input of the aftermarket radio?

thanx

Mart

All of the functions should work. You will need an interface box (for example the PAC SWI-JACK) to convert the signals from the steering wheel into something your deck can understand.
