I have a pioneer avic 920bt On my 2010 evo x and i wanted tO be able to use my factory steering controls. I bought the Pac Swi-ps to use the controls. I brought it to best buy and they said the unit was incompatible for the evo x. I had no choice but to buy the axxess universal unit from them cause they said that would work. My volume and seek bottons on my steering wheel works now but he says the bluetooth and phone pick up/hang up botton wont work. He says it only works on the oem radio. Is this true?

they used the ASWC? yea it auto learns. no it wont i tried it in mine.

First of all, you cant trust Best Buy. I installed the Axxess interface with the Pioneer AVIC 930BT. I was able to get the volume, seek, and mode buttons to work properly. I didnt get the button with the voice commands to work because I figured out the Pioneer unit doesnt support it. Thats common sense. I did get the hang up button to work, but still need to get the pick up button to work. Autolearn did not work properly for me, so I remapped all the buttons. Im gonna try to get the pick up button to eventually work and then ill be happy. Did Best Buy update the Axxess interface to the latest firmware? Tell them to do that if it wasnt done, and to remap each button. DO NOT just use autolearn.
