Charge iPhone while using Bluetooth option?

Is this possible? The stock head unit is horrible to navigate through albums and songs. Using bluetooth works great, but the battery on the phone only lasts so long.

Once you connect the phone to the usb port you no longer have the ability to select songs via the iphone screen. Seems like this vehicle has so many ways to play music, but makes it hard to use it.

This is what I do. I keep my Bluetooth setting in my Iphone on, and keep it plugged into the Iphone charger connected in my cigarette lighter.

Works great for me.

Or if you want the ability to freely choose songs... Maybe one of those cigarette lighter RFI things might be more of what you are looking for. It charges at the same time also.

Trying to understand. You use your cell data to do this?

I'm going to have to do the same. I have a cable to do this was just curious if there was other options via the USB port in the car. Thanks for the replies.

Go out and try it with your car....However, I do believe you can. Plug the phone into the usb port in the glove box and turn on your bluetooth. Then switch to BT mode on the car and play your music.

That doesn't work for me. You can't control the music directly on the phone.
