Boost gauge installed, safe to use cigarette lighter?

I installed my Prosport boost gauge today and used the cig lighter/accessory fuse as a power source. Can I still use my cell phone charger without running the risk of drawing too much power and risking an electrical fire?

Dont think I would be worried about an electrical fire.... I think the only thing that would happen is you would blow a fuse or you just wouldn't draw power. Could be wrong though cause I suck at electronics.

I have mine ran to the lighter and still charge my phone/use my radar detector all the time. Shouldn't have any issues.

NP man, for future reference if you get a AFR gauge you can't reuse the lighter(or i couldn't). Caused interference and my AFR wouldn't read. Had to tap into the head unit for power.

You have saved me loads of research time. Wideband is actually getting installed this week so thanks for the info!

you'd blow a fuse before anything caught fire, and the boost gauge hardly draws any current, and certainly not as much as an actual cigarette lighter would
