Look at my previous post, most concealed mount I've come across

i've tried 8500 x50 and v1, 8500 x50 actually missed one on me, led to a ticket. swapped to a v1 and never looked back

Passport 8500 X50...but only on roadtrips, I don't keep it in the car on a daily basis.

Passport 9500ix and Android app Waze, both have saved me countless times. I run them both simultaneously commuting to work and long trips. Waze works well when other drivers mark hazards....

We're using the same radar detector and app, just that I have an iphone.

Man, I **love** Waze. Best free app ever. Nav + cop finder? Yes, please!

Thanks, I like that, but I was wondering if one was made with the sensors that are mountable like in the grill and bumper of the car. But that is a really nice mount

I also rock the 9500ix, with blend mount. It is worth the price, keeps it out of view ( for the most part). I also recently took plunge and got a laser jammer since i got zapped by a cop hiding. If used right, they never know. it has paid for itself so many times over already. if you use blend mount (need type 2 for evo), get the hard wire kit and put remote into the blank slot by asc button. let me know. If anyone does what to put it in the blank spot, i'll do it just send me dash part and power cord. ( It will be permanant, since epoxy is used).

You can see the epoxy in the pic but hard to see in person. Should have used black or grey color. Most think it came in the car. Also round one is on/off button for jammer.

I've got the passport 9500ix, I have the hardwire kit and will be installing it with the button just like armysoldier except I really don't feel like spending another $80 on the blendmount

9500ix and I got the visor clip. Ran the hardwire behind my A pillar and down to the fuse box. Mounted the mute button just like armysoldier, but it sticks out. Not sure how he got his flush since those mute buttons are kind of tall. At least for the 9500ix they are.

I've got no complaints and my mount is pretty stealth. You have to bend down to see it from outside the car.

What's this app everyone is talking about?

i've used a V1 since 1990. I updated the models over the years but the 1st one lasted me 10 years before I got a new one.

I tried an escort before but at the time I had a s2000 and i couldn't hear it beeping so I went back to V1 which is very loud even with the radio on. showing where the signal is coming from is very handy.
