V1. I don't rely on the cop app. The arrows tell me where the cops are before other detector does. The V1 is also invisible because of VG2 technology. some other detectors like the silver bullet emits a radar sound that the V1 detects and other detectors as well. Though I notice that in FL there are silent photo radar and detectable ones.

Lol..., took panel off and used dremel. Did lil at a time till I got what I wanted. You have to do some work behind the panel since the remote is actually kinda angled. If you just slightly make hole bigger it will fit but the face of remote won't be flush. Have to modify a big piece of plastic behind it where the blank clips into. Hope it helps.

Another vote for the Valentine V1.

I have tried many over the years and the V1 just can't be beat.

Had one hardwired into my Evo within a week of buying the car.

V1. I don't think i can live without the arrows anymore. Even put one in my bike.

I have an 8500 and 9500 and V1 wins.

Don't drive an X, but I use V1 and it has saved me multiple times. Probably one of the best $400 I have ever spent.

Even when I'm not speeding, I love using the arrows and warning other drivers if there is a cop up ahead.

Someone should make this thread a poll! There are not that many radar detectors (which people actually use).

Had a Escort Passport 9500ix, returned it, and got a Valentine One. Couldn't be happier. Using a mirrior mount, looks really clean.
