Hey guys,

I'm new to this forum but learned a lot of great stuff from here already. So here's my problem. I tried installing a glowshift shift light in my 2004 OZ Rally Lancer today and it just wouldn't do anything. Wouldn't light up at all :\

I had a 12v source and ground and I think I had the right signal wire in the ecu pins but it just wouldn't do anything.

I had crappy connections though so tomorrow morning I'm going to get some quality automotive wiring, solder everything really good and get a really solid ground since these shift lights need a quality ground.

I'll keep you posted on my progress.

Just wondering if anybody knows where the rpm signal from the ecu is on a 2004 OZ rally lancer just for confirmation.

Just finished installing my shift light. 2004 OZ Rally Lancers have the same ECU pinout as the evolutions so pin #58 was the RPM signal on evolutions. Spliced into that and now my shift light is working like a champ.

If anybody needs a 'how to' on installing this then just give me a shout.

Maybe not a how to, but a couple pictures would be nice. Even though this is the Evo section we all like our pretties.
