I am buying my first sub and I would like some help on a setup. I am looking to spend $300 no more. I found the type r for $125 new, but I was not sure what amp to get. It is a 4-ohm that has a peak power if 1800 watt. The rmz handling in 300-600 (not to sure what this part means, I think watts per ohm). Can someone help me find an amp that is decent/good and help me with the wiring and other accessories?

Do a search on the internet about RMS and peak power.

All TypeR's need huge power for not that great of sound. If you can return it, get a different sub. JL or Kicker.

Do not pay attention to Peak Power.
RMS means how much the speaker can take at a constant rate.
For that sub, you'll need at least a 500W amp.
