On your left rear taillight: (These are for your combination bulbs, remember you have outer tail lights and inner taillights)
-yellow wire is your power wire for the tail lamp bulb when headlights are on
-red wire is brake light bulb power
-green wire is turn signal power

On your right rear taillight: (These are for your combination bulbs, remember you have outer taillights and inner taillights)
- gray wire is your power wire for the tail lamp bulb when headlights are on
- red wire is brake light bulb power
- white/red wire is turn signal power

On the other set of tail lights there is a power wire yellow for the left one and brown for the right one.

The brown and gray both run to a connector in the left kick panel in the rear where they join as one wire before feeding to the taillight control circuit, so you could just find where they meet at the connector and run a switch off of the brown wire. The yellow runs to the same taillight control switch, there is no junction connector between it and the taillight control switch so you can find where the yellow wires from both left side taillights meet and just put a switch before they split.

The taillight control switch is part of the BCU, BCM whatever you wanna call it.

On both tail lamps there is a black wire that is the common ground for all 3 circuits per tail light.

IF you wanted no rear lights at all wouldn't it be easiest to interupt the ground? I guess you'd still have to deal with your liscence plate lights.

I agree with this as well, but completely didn't even cross my mind when I was pulling the wiring diagram for it.
