So the knob to select where I want heat or ac to blow (feet, face, windshield, etc.) is stuck on feet only. The knob itself moves but it doesn't select anything. All other knobs and functions work as they should, but this one stopped working!

Can anyone help me?

 

Does it still make the clicking sound as the other nobs do? or does it do nothing at all?
If it still clicks like the others, it probably has a connection / electrical issue.
If it does not make the clicking sound then it most likely is a mechanical failure.
That should give you a good idea on where to start.

 

It clicks but does nothing. I was told by a member on another forum that he had the same thing happen to him and the problem was that there is a metal ring under the knob and its broken and wont spin with the knob. The knob needs to be replaced and it should work. So I'll give that a try and let you know. Now does anybody know how to get the knobs off?

 

So I was told by me dealer today that the knobs aren't sold separately only as a whole unit which costs $400!! Really?? I can't just swap a knob?!
