So I've searched, but couldn't find an answer as of yet.

Anyways, I picked up an Evo X a couple weeks ago. It's the SSS model, but it has an aftermarket touch screen in it. The radio sounds lame, it picks up radio stations but they have a lot is static. When It plays music from my iPod or cd it sounds like it dims in and out, and just sounds crappy. The nav us also not hooked up. I'd like to purchase the oem touchscreen unit at some point, but for now I'd like to try and fix this issue as it is. I've never really messed with audio equipment before, so I thought I'd ask here first to see if any of you guys can steer me in the right direction as to what the problem may be or how to fix it.

What brand is the radio? And what's the model number of it?
