My Install (with Pics)
I recently installed the American International Dash Kit. The head unit is the JVC KW-AV61. The reason I chose that unit is because it is one of the very few units that has a detachable face. The dash kit fits nicely (probably 95% of stock). The JVC unit DOES come with a bezel to go around the unit for a completely OEM flush look, BUT if you install the bezel, then it makes it much harder to attach/detach the face for security. Due to that fact, I decided to leave the bezel off. If I happen to move into a house with a garage, I will probably install it. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I don't post a lot of pic so hopefully the 2 pics I post will show up below. lol.

Fandadar,
Get the American International Kit and call it a day. I just posted pics so check them out. Prior to buying the AI kit, I searched the threads on here and compared all of the potential double-din dash kits. For the money, you CANNOT beat this dash kit. I forgot how much a paid because I bought it and it sat in storage for almost a year before I finally installed it. If I had to guess, I would say that I paid no more than $50 (tax, s&h, etc). Compared to the OEM dash part it replaces, I would say that the fitment is about 95% as good as OEM which is pretty damn good. If you really look at it long and study it, you can see TINY areas where it may not fully lineup, but like I said, for the price and 95% of the fitment of OEM, its a STEAL. FYI, on my pics, the kit does have a bezel to close off the gaps around the unit, but mine is also a detachable face (main reason I bought it) and it is VERY hard to attach/detach if the bezel is installed so don't mind the gaps around the unit if it concerns you.

I just installed my Pioneer navi with the american international dash kit. I used the brackets off the stock touchscreen non-navi headunit that came with my 2014 MY. The navi is about 3/4" too sunken in. Anyone have any recommendations on where to get brackets that will fit better?
