Hi,
I searched internet for some rear side pictures of Rockford Fosgate MMCS. On all of them I found iPod connector (8pin round female) marked green on the image. Somebody calls it digital connector.

What I need to know is if I will buy a cable like this:

Put it into that connector and hook up iPod / iPhone will it work? Will this enable some iPod menu like in australian units and be able to control playback from head unit / steering wheel?
Can somebody confirm this?

 

sounds like your going to be the guinea pig on this one.

 

Actually I cannot try it. Car is away on serious upgrade - will be away for month or so.
Thats why I'm asking if somebody already tryed...
The idea is very simple thats why I believe somebody can try sooner than I do or already has experience with this solution.

 

I would love to know the anwser to that as well. Maybe contacting Rockford directly they can help.
