Possible amp issue (no sound from MR stereo)?

I have had an intermittent issue recently where when I start my car sometimes there is no sound out of my speakers even no beeping sound from button presses. Does this sound like an amp issue? It's been very cold here and I am thinking that may be a cause.

Is the amp located under the driver seat? I was wondering how hard if would be to unplug it if possible to see if I can sort of recreate the issue.

I called my local mitsu shop and they said unless they can recreate it they can't do anything.

1. A fuse blown is not an 'intermittent' issue.

2. You need to figure out what conditions and cite them when you drop the car off. They may need it overnight if it has to be 'cold'.

I had this issue before, I took the seat out and found that the amp mount was completely rusted to $hit. Bad ground? I cleaned it up with some sanding and what not and now its been fine for over a year.
