Stock radio = 2 Failures
Stock radio = 2 Failures
Hey Guys my stock (base) radio on my 2010 GSR has failed twice.
First time it was replaced by the dealer and now it failed again out of warranty. Mechanic verified that it is indeed the radio. Dealer wanted $1,200 for a new one. Anyway, wondering what you guys would recommend as a hopefully painless replacement from Crutchfield ? Would steering wheel controls still work ?
Thanks!

1200 could get you a pretty good aftermarket setup. From let's say pioneer. You need the aftermarket radio, a wiring harness, dash kit, and steering wheel control adapter. Look around at what you want and what you like and what fits in your budget. The wiring harness makes plugging it into your car easy (it can be done w/o it but the harness is only like 10 bucks and it makes life really easy. Everything is color coded so you can't really even mess up) If you have any further questions feel free to PM me!!
